My name is Emma and I have been planning, curating and managing events for over 20 years.  I am passionate about helping and supporting people and think I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to do what I do.  Whatever level of support you need, for whatever kind of celebration - wedding, party, funeral, community event - I would love to help you! ​​

I really love and am so lucky to do what I do.   I really am at my best when I am supporting people, bringing order to any complexity, nurturing my clients through big decisions and creating spaces where everyone feels held and cared for. Weddings, celebrations and events combine everything I value - connection, creativity, organisation and heart and it is why I pour so much of myself into everything I do.  This isn’t just work for me - it’s a genuine passion.  I am a calm, thoughtful and deeply invested events specialist with more than twenty years of experience in event creation, logistical planning and people focused work.  My career has taken me from directing my own Devon based music and arts festival and many community projects,  as well as roles in creative consultancy and mentoring young musicians.  But now I really feel I am doing the work I love most - supporting people as they plan some of the most meaningful days of their lives - weddings, celebrations and other events.

​With my background in large event logistics, team leadership and creative project management, I am able to bring a calm, steady presence not only to the planning processes, but also over the actual day itself.  I am super detail-focused, unflappable under pressure and naturally tuned into what people need, whether that’s reassurance, clarity or a practical solution delivered with care.

Over the years I have built many strong relationships with a trusted network of talented suppliers who share the same warmth, integrity and high standards as me. This means, if needed, I can match you with the right people, guide you through decisions with honesty and ensure every element of your day feels cohesive, personal and beautifully executed.

 

I truly want you to feel supported, understood and looked after, however much involvement you need from me.  I am here to think of the things you may not have considered and to make the whole experience feels lighter and more joyful, with me by your side.  ​Your celebration should feel like you , should represent you and should be full of joy and effortless. My role is to ensure that happens, using my care, creativity and my unwavering attention to detail.

With weddings, some of my clients have called me their Wedding Mama, which I absolutely adore.  Mums are our rocks and to be thought of as a rock to someone is an utter privilege. If you are getting married I would love to be your Wedding Mama!
