Hello, I am Emma and I live in South Devon with my partner Clarkey. I have 5 awesome grown up children (who are at the stage where they leave home then come back a little while later while their life paths change!) and also my two elderly cats Oscar and Maisie (who rule the roost!)  I get huge joy from supporting people and making life easier for everyone around me. I love addressing challenges, solving problems and making things happen for people. I am at my very best when I am caring for others, bringing calm to complexity and gently guiding people through big decisions - making life easier for people. 

 

But most of all I love love!  After all love makes the world go around - love for yourself, love for your family, love for your job, love for you home, love for your community, love for our world.

I am a calm, thoughtful and deeply invested wedding and events specialist, with extensive experience in event creation, logistical planning and people-focused work. I have been planning, curating and managing events for over twenty years and I feel so lucky to be able to support others through some of their most meaningful moments, whether it be for weddings, celebrations, funerals, festivals, community events or any other gatherings. Creating events brings together everything I value: connection, creativity, organisation and heart and it is why I pour so much of myself into everything I do. This is not simply my work, it is my passion.

My career has included founding, directing and curating the award winning GlasDenbury Music and Arts Festival in Devon, leading multiple community projects, mentoring your musicians and and working in creative consultancy.  ​With this background in large-scale logistics, team leadership and creative project management, I bring a steady, reassuring presence, a detail focused outlook and I am totally unflappable under pressure! I am also naturally attuned to what people need, whether that is clarity, reassurance or a thoughtful solution delivered with love and care.

Over the years I have built strong relationships with a trusted wide network of trustworthy and talented suppliers, who all share my values of warmth, integrity and excellence. This allows me to guide you honestly, recommend with confidence and ensure every element of your day feels cohesive, personal and beautifully considered.

Above all, I want my clients to feel supported, understood and truly looked after. I am here to think of the things you may not have considered and to make everything feel lighter and more joyful with me by your side.  ​Your celebration or event should feel like you, reflect what matters to you and be filled with ease and happiness. My role is to help make that happen with care, creativity and a quiet attention to every detail.

With weddings, some of my couples affectionately call me their 'Wedding Mama' which I utterly treasure.
